My Experience with Marketing
It all started when I got my first job as a marketing intern at MKS. On the first day, I came up with a product idea of a T-Shirt saying “FE Man in the Lab”. Cheesy and corny, I was able to see this product come to fruition at the end of my internship there, as I got to take home with me one of the T-shirts. In the meantime, at my internship, I mostly created competitive spreadsheets to compare the company’s prices and costs, managed a python code that checked current inventory levels, wrote material request forms, and picked up said materials. I had a lot of fun working at MKS and wanted to do more in marketing, so I looked to classes I could take.
Although it isn’t a option to minor in marketing, I decided to attend the marketing classes at Chapman to gain more knowledge on the subject. I took a community college class for business and then at Chapman took the classes: “Fundamentals of Marketing for Non-Majors” and “New Product Development”. The classes were a lot of fun and I love the fundamental core idea of marketing. To me, marketing isn’t simply about not only seeing a need and filling a need, but also for a way for fans to connect to a company. Now more than ever, how consumers see a company is very important and I would love to be the person that creates a positive and welcoming atmosphere for consumers of all ages.
The Shaman
This is a video game that I spearheaded over the summer of 2020. It was a group of four people which included me as the producer and writer, and my friends as the programmer, artist, and composer. This game is basically a twist of Harvest Moon where instead of being a farmer, the player ends up working as a shaman to save the village.
Here’s a sneak peak, showcasing the beginning of how the game starts.
Iron Woman in the Lab
This here is a marketing product that I designed. The shirt became its own product over at MKS Instruments. Two designs were made: Iron Man in the Lab (T-Shirt Blue) and Iron Woman in the Lab (T-Shirt Purple).

Kingdom of Tregoda Trailer
A short 40-second trailer that I made for my game: Kingdom of Tregoda. I used Filmora, edited some of the free music it offered me, and gameplay.
